• From Pretoria, on the N1 South, take the William Nicol off ramp and turn left into William Nicol Drive.
  Follow the sign posts towards Johannesburg.
• At the William Nicol / Republic Road intersection, (Forest Farm on your left) turn right into Republic.
• At the 1st Robot turn left into Waggon Road.
  Pass through the booms.
• Take the 1stturn right and immediatly left into Lebensraum Road.
  The Clinic is house number 15.
• From Johannesburg, travel along Jan Smuts Avenue towards the Randburg CBD.
  Turn right into Republic Road then follow the directions as laid out from point C.

Make an Appointment

What to expect on your first appointment

When you come for your first appointment you can expect to spend 2  hours at Sandton Sexual Medicine. You will undergo a bio-psycho-social evaluation which means you will spend time with Dr. McIntosh. Based on your particular sexual health concerns, you will undergo a physical examination and a series of tests. Based on findings, Dr. McIntosh may recommend your going for laboratory testing, radiologic diagnostic testing or physical therapy.

What you should bring with you to your first appointment

Please bring the completed packet of materials with you to your first appointment. If you live far from Sandton and have already mailed in your registration materials and questionnaires, you my want to check that you have completed our most up-to-date materials. If you have new laboratory tests or medical records relative to your sexual health issues, please bring these with you. In addition, we welcome and encourage you to bring your partner with you whenever possible.

How to schedule a telephone courtesy call

Call 011 787 - 1222 to schedule one 10-minute telephone courtesy conversation. A courtesy call provides you with an opportunity to speak directly with Dr. McIntosh at no charge. She will talk with you about your sexual health problems, your management goals, previous evaluations, how she may help you, and if an appointment at Sandton Sexual Medicine is appropriate. Before the courtesy call, you may want to send a brief summary of your sexual medicine history. Please e-mail it to disa@icon.co.za or fax it 619.265.7696. If you decide to make an appointment, Dr. McIntosh can help you understand some of the tests you may be undergoing so that you can judge the amount of time you may need to spend at Sandton Sexual Medicine. How to make an appointment

Call 011 787 - 1222 to schedule an appointmenty with Dr. McIntosh at Sandton Sexual Medicine. If you have spoken with Dr. McIntosh on a courtesy call already, please relay the information to the receptionist regarding your sexual health problem and the tests and/or days Dr. McIntosh recommended. If you have not spoken with Dr. McIntosh, you may want to schedule a courtesy call at a time prior to your scheduled appointment. Please have a charge card available as we require this to hold your appointment. Your card will be charged R750.00 if you fail to provide 24 hours notice for cancellation of your appointment.
